Existing Apartment and Townhouse Complex
Located at 1821 & 1827 McKenzie Avenue in Saanich, Willowdene-Rosewood is a 15-unit townhouse and 44-unit apartment complex at the end of its service life and requires replacement. The townhouse and apartments complex will be redeveloped as a consolidated site known as 1800 McKenzie.
Proposed Redevelopment
The redevelopment is currently at the application stage, and further details about the size and scope of the development will be made available as they are confirmed. The remodeling will provide a wide range of units from studios to 4-bedroom.
This redevelopment aims to modernize density, providing the community with housing options on a future rapid-transit route, near schools, active transportation, and other amenities.
The project is estimated for completion in Q2 2030.
